As a Multi-physics Modeling Engineer (m/f/d), you will play an important role in developing multi-phyiscs solutions in Dymola across various industries and domains. Our team is dedicated to creating and maintaining advanced technologies and solutions for system simulation, system design, and optimization. A primary challenge you will encounter is ensuring the delivery of accurate and validated models that effectively support our customers’ workflows. The position can be filled in Munich, Gilching or Hamburg.
Role Description & Responsibilities
- Develop robust multi-physics simulation solutions using Dymola
- Implement pre- and post-processing functions in Python, Scilab, or other scripting languages
- Create and optimize workflows based on Dymola and the FMI Standard to enhance system integration
- Facilitate knowledge sharing within the team and across departments to promote best practices and innovation in development efforts
Qualifications
- You hold a Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Process Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics or a related discipline, complemented by strong supplementary qualifications
- Experience in the development of simulation solutions within the automotive or aerospace industry is desirable and advantageous
- Advanced skills in systems simulation, particularly in numerical methods, are essential
- You have a solid understanding of Modelica, Dymola, MATLAB, Simulink, and Python
- A self-reliant, solution-oriented approach combined with strong team collaboration and communication skills is crucial
- Fluency in English is required to effectively interact with diverse teams and clients
