RSM, a provider of audit, tax, and consulting services, has been named a supplier on three government frameworks following its investment in public sector practice.

The Crown Commercial Service (CCS) has included RSM on the Audit & Assurance Services Two (A&AS2) across various lots, as well as on the Management Consultancy Services Framework Four (MCF4) and the NHS SBS Audit Services for Health framework.

The CCS agreements position RSM as a supplier for internal audit and assurance, external audit, counter fraud investigation, and other independent assurance under the A&AS2 (RM6310) framework.

Furthermore, RSM has been named on the MCF4 in areas such as strategy and policy, complex and transformation, finance, and restructuring and insolvency.

RSM UK partner and head of central government Alessandra Raja said: “We’re an experienced advisor across the public sector and have made a strategic investment into our expanding UK team, while drawing together public sector expertise from across our global network, particularly the US, Canada, and Ireland.

“This has been recognised in our expanding presence across multiple frameworks, and we look forward to working alongside the UK public sector organisations to help tackle the big issues and promote sustainable change.”

Additionally, RSM has been reappointed to the NHS SBS Audit Services for Health framework, where it will provide internal audit, counter fraud, well-led reviews, ancillary audit and governance services, and conduct independent workplace investigations.

RSM UK partner and NHS specialist Nick Atkinson added: “RSM continues to lead the way in providing expedient assurance and advice, as well as partnering with organisations across the public sector to provide sustainable solutions to improve the outcomes of the people who rely so much upon these services.”

The company’s recent expansion of RSM’s public sector practice has seen a 30% growth and strategic team enhancements, including the recruitment of Alessandra Raja from PA Consulting, supporting complex public sector programmes.

Recently, RSM UK brought on board Shannon Dowdles as a tax partner in its corporate tax division, with a focus on serving clients within the energy sector in Aberdeen, Scotland.
