Real Story of Growth from Ashley Attleberger – Senior OEM Account Planner
I started my career with Webco eleven years ago, in the Oil City storeroom. It was there that I gained the basic knowledge of what we did and how we operated. I worked in the storeroom for 2-1/2 years and was given the opportunity to go back to school and finish a secondary degree in Human Resources at Webco’s expense.
I felt that the leaders of Webco truly supported me and wanted me to succeed. Shortly after completing that degree, I was offered a position as a Customer Account Representative in Reno. It was in this position that I really learned the ins and outs of the company. I had many seasoned employees take me under their wing and guide me. I started to feel like I was a part of something bigger, it felt like a family. Webco offered me the income and stability I needed to be able to start my own family.
I became the Plant Scheduler at Reno and enrolled in the Management Ready Program. This program gave me the tools I needed to advance as a leader. I was excited to influence people like the leaders before me did.
After completing the Management Ready course, I was given the opportunity to lead the Production Planning Group in Reno.
I chose Webco as my employer because they have always invested in and supported me. They promote from within, provide tools and the support you need to be successful. I feel that they are truly rooting for me. I am proud to be a part of their culture, and I feel that my opinion matters. I look forward to coming to work every day, with a positive atmosphere, and I can’t wait to see where my career with Webco takes me next!
